Digitalk said that ten new wholesale voice service providers have adopted the Digitalk Carrier Cloud solution since the beginning of June, including IXA Global, Telcom in Ireland, Galaxtel, Viacloud, and Latin Talk in the USA.

In combination with existing customer expansion, this represents significant recent growth in the Digitalk Carrier Cloud.

A series of ten service providers have recently joined the Digitalk Carrier Cloud, most migrating from different combinations of on premises solutions. These include IXA Global, Telcom in Ireland, Galaxtel and Viacloud. These companies gain the significant advantage of a fully integrated service with unlimited expansion capacity.

In addition, some customers have adopted both carrier and consumer cloud solutions to support their wholesale and retail services, such as Latin Talk in the USA.

Digitalk Carrier Cloud allows wholesale voice service providers to use the agility and scalability of cloud to drive ROI and efficiency in their voice businesses. With no limits on capacity and a pay-per-use model, Digitalk Carrier Cloud is built to support risk-free growth with a low capex and an operational model that meets the needs of rapidly growing voice businesses, the company said.

Digitalk customers around the world use Carrier Cloud to arrange their own carrier agreements, set-up interconnects, determine rates, and configure routing plans, on demand and in real-time. Its network capabilities include flexible signalling interworking, SIP session high availability, and dynamic media transcoding.
