Indonesian mobile operator Telkomsel has tapped Dilithium to provide it with the ViVAS (Video Value Added Services) service delivery platform to provide multimedia and enhanced video services.
According to Dilithium, ViVAS is a service delivery platform that provides reliable real-time streaming of video content to and from mobile wireless devices and SIP clients.
Using the ViVAS platform, Telkomsel will be able to deploy a diverse range of enhanced video services. This new deployment build on a prior implementation of Dilithium's multimedia gateways for a range of multimedia services for Telkomsel, including mobile TV.
