Dimension Data and PT Sigma CiptaCaraka (Telkomsigma) have formed a strategic partnership to develop and provide end-to-end data center services to local and global enterprises in Indonesia.

The collaboration will pool the expertise, capabilities and facilities of both companies and help Telkomsigma expand its data centre market share, particularly for the Japanese community in Indonesia, Dimension Data said in a statement.

Judi Achmadi, president director, Telkomsigma, said the partnership will enable the ICT solutions provider to expand its data center offerings to address local and international market demands.

Telkomsigma, which is owned by Indonesian incumbent carrier Telkom, offers a wide range of solutions and services - data center services, cloud computing, system integration, and banking financial solutions - which have been implemented by more than 400 clients from various industries in Indonesia.

The company was found in 1987 and acquired by Telkom in early 2008. It currently employs more than 1,200 personnel including informational certified IT professionals.
