(Kyodo News via NewsEdge) NTT DoCoMo will appoint company vice president Ryuji Yamada as president, replacing Masao Nakamura who will become an adviser, company sources said.
NTT DoCoMo, which saw its share of the Japanese mobile phone market fall below 50% in March, will try to maintain its position as industry leader under the new president and to fight intensifying competition with rival companies such as KDDI and Softbank Mobile.
