OSS/BSS provider Elitecore Technologies has implemented its core network and session control software onto BSNL's Wimax network.
The vendor said it had deployed its EliteAAA platform on the nascent network, which is being rolled out in both rural and urban areas - with BSNL hoping to attract 1.8 million rural subscribers.
EliteAAA supports EAP-TTLS & EAP-TLS and certificate based authentication, Elitecore said. The platform already supports BSNL's MPLS VPN, xDSL and Wi-Fi networks, minimizing the equipment needed for the upgrade.
“We are happy that we have been able to deliver solutions to meet BSNL requirements,” Elitecore COO Nikhil Jain said.
