Collocation provider Equinix has added four partners to the company's carrier Ethernet exchange development program, as it ramps up for a global launch.
Easynet Global Services, euNetworks, PacketExchange and BroadbandONE have all joined Equinix' final stage trial program for the exchange. Equinix has now signed up 11 partners for the development program.
Equinix expects to begin a phased rollout of the platform in Q2, and hopes to cover 16 metro regions by the end of the year.
