EXFO adds OTN support to Ethernet test modules

Testing and measurement company EXFO has added OTN testing capabilities on its 100G/40G Ethernet test modules.

The company has added OTU4 and OTU3 full-line-rate testing support to its FTB/IQS-86100G Packet Blazer test modules.

The added functionality can be added via a software upgrade, requiring no additional hardware investment, EXFO said.

EXFO was the first test and measurement provider to conduct OTU4 lab trials in collaboration with vendors.
