Google launches search app for iPhone 3.0
Google has launched in the US and UK its Search with My Location for iPhone 3.0. This app enables users to search for locales in their vicinity without entering specific location-based queries.
Microsoft readies expanded Windows Marketplace
Microsoft expects to roll out within this year its Windows Marketplace for Mobile application storefront, which will support devices powered by the Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 operating systems. Microsoft begins accepting developer submissions in 29 supported countries on July 27.
