Adobe “Hero” to build apps

Adobe said it will feature mobile application-building capabilities with the planned "Hero" version of its open source Flex framework. Hero, due in a preview version later this year, will offer a construct for managing "screens" of an application and the ability to scale applications automatically on devices with varying pixel densities.

Movial now offers enablement and certification services for Adobe Flash Player 10.1 on both systems-on-chip and mobile platforms for MeeGo and Android. Movial also revealed that it is already working with major chip and mobile platform vendors to integrate, test and certify Flash Player 10.1 on a wide range of mobile environments.
