AIS is introducing real-time news video clips over mobile phones, aiming to make its news content services a flagship source of non-voice revenue. AIS says mobile content now accounted for 15% of total non-voice services.

Telecom New Zealand upgrades its international network with Juniper Networks. The carrier has upgraded the capacity and security of its international network with Juniper Networks M-series routers and Integrated Security Gateways.

Andrew wins a major contract to upgrade the existing communications infrastructure on one of Singapore's Mass Rapid Transit rail lines to support a 3G wireless network. This is the first 3G service for an underground radio network in Singapore.
