BT has signed an agreement with Thomson Reuters to manage its global WAN in an eight-year outsourcing deal.

Datacraft has won a three-year contract to provide maintenance and support for the backbone network established by Philippines-based service provider Acision. Financial details were not disclosed.

NCR announces the launch of its new NCR SelfServ family of automated teller machines (ATMs), now available for the Southeast Asia market. NCR SelfServ ATMs are designed to help drive more revenue, the firm said.

Motorola announces expanded line of tools for its MOTODEV Studio. Motorola said it is offering an updated toolset for coding Java ME applications and unveiling plans for tools that support application development on Symbian/UIQ, WebUI and mobile Linux platforms.
