Mobile solutions firm Celltick announced the opening of a dedicated office in Singapore to manage and support its extensive client base in the Asia Pacific region. This is an additional step towards Celltick's global strategy to expand the use of idle screen mobile marketing around the world.

Chunghwa Telecom acquires an additional 450,000 of Widevine's Cypher Virtual SmartCard clients to accommodate rapid subscriber expansion and in-home network proliferation. Chunghwa has been acquiring approximately 4,000 internet subscribers a day, it said.

Belgacom finalizes the acquisition of Tele2 Luxembourg, the number two mobile operator in Luxembourg operating under the brand name 'Tango.' Tele2 Luxembourg currently provides mobile, fixed voice (mainly pre-select) and DSL services in Luxembourg.
