Chunghwa Telecom will spend NT$30 billion ($930.7 million) a year over the next three years towards expanding its fiber network.

Motorola has secured a contract from Irish operator Imagine to replace its existing wireless infrastructure with a Wimax network. Motorola will provide integration and support services as well as vendor financing.

RIM has launched the BlackBerry Storm2 in seven European countries, as well as South Africa, through operator partner Vodafone.
