Japanese mobile phone operators, DoCoMo, KDDI, and SoftBank confirm that radio frequency energy from mobile phone base stations does not cause damage to human cells. Since November 2002, the companies have been collaborating to examine the effects of radio waves.

Indian search engine ByIndia.com unveils an upgraded version of its Web site. The site's logo, which has been the same since the search engine's launch is also being updated to better reflect the site's new, 'Web 2.0' functionality, the firm said.

P2P firm RawFlow signs a new partnership agreement with ChinaCache, the largest content delivery network in China. Under the deal, RawFlow and ChinaCache will jointly promote P2P technology in the China market.
