Japanese operator Emobile has launched HSPA services in major cities, including Tokyo and Osaka. The rollout was performed by Ericsson.

New Zealand competition regulator ComCom is taking its decade-old dispute with Telecom NZ over pre-broadband internet pricing to NZ's highest Court.

Nokia has launched web APIs and a beta SDK for its Ovi platform. The company said it plans to progressively roll out APIs for all its services, beginning with Ovi Maps and Ovi Navigation.
