FASTTAKES: Equinix, i-mate, Telstra, iPass

Equinix plans to expand its Hong Kong internet Business Exchange center by more than 80% and commence the third expansion of its Singapore IBX center. The expansions are being driven by significant demand growth from existing Equinix customers as well as from other businesses in the Asia-Pacific market.

i-mate, a mobile devices company, seals a partnership deal with Telstra to launch the i-mate Ultimate 8502 and i-mate Ultimate 9502 devices. Building on a five-year partnership which has seen the launch of 10 i-mate devices on the Telstra network, the companies have partnered again to release the Ultimate mobile devices.

iPass signs an agreement with O-Zone Networks to add O-Zone's increasing number of hotspot locations to iPass's Global Broadband Roaming footprint. O-Zone said it is working with DLF, a real estate developer in India, to introduce Wi-Fi internet access to venues across the country.
