State-owned telco MTNL prepares to launch India's first IPTV service in the next few days. The new service is expected to help offset the company's falling voice services revenues.

Mobile software solutions provider Ikivo opens a new sales and marketing office in Korea. The new office will provide a dedicated local presence in Asia, as part of the Swedish company's thrust to expand in the region.

SmarTone-Vodafone partners with Interactive Technology to launch a network-wide HSDPA service in Hong Kong. The network delivers SmarTone-Vodafone Mobile Broadband, Hong Kong's first commercial wireless data service with full HSDPA coverage throughout the territory.
