Nokia has ceased production of the N810 Wimax Edition tablet - the only Wimax device in the company's range, according to PC World. But Nokia insists the device has merely reached the end of its natural lifespan.

The Philippines' National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has called for comments over its plan to auction off the nation's fifth and final 3G license. Interested players will have ten days to respond.

Qatar Telecom (QTel) may hold a tender offer for shares in Indonesian operator PT Indosat, as it seeks to raise its stake to the maximum allowed 65%, Reuters reports.
