NTT reports that it has reached 10 million fibre-optic internet subscribers. The company also currently has over 5,000 subscribers to its next generation network service.

Mobile users are more receptive to advertising messages when linked with an appropriate incentive, a survey from ABI Research has revealed. The survey said 37% of respondents indicated that they were more likely to respond to advertising if offered an incentive such as a free song or ring tone.

Hughes Telematics announces the opening of its newest office in Tokyo. A presence in Japan allows HUGHES Telematics to be immediately accessible to Japanese automobile manufacturers in support of their telematics planning and execution activities.
