SingTel has announced that international chief Lim Chuan Poh is retiring and will vacate his position by year-end.

SingTel-owned NCS has been appointed the ICT partner in the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) S$850mi ($605.4m) Standard ICT Operating Environment for Schools program. Under the scheme, NCS will provide all schools in Singapore with central infrastructure and computing services.

Nokia Siemens Networks has completed an HSPA+ upgrade for Indosat, enabling 42Mbps downloads for consumers and reduced network energy consumption by as much as 50%.
