Verint Systems secures a deal from China's Ministry of Railways to provide its Nextiva Critical Infrastructure IP video solution with integrated analytics to enhance the security of certain portions of the Beijing-Tianjin high-speed passenger rail system.

QMax Communications announces that wireless broadband service is now being offered in the main harbor and coastal areas in southern Singapore using mobile WiMAX technology powered by Posdata Flyvo. The service is part of the Wiseport (WIreless-broadband-access at SEaPORT) initiative.

BT rolls out CallFlow, a capability that allows voice and data to be combined dynamically, free of heavyweight interactive voice response (IVR) platforms. CallFlow will enable BT and third party developers to integrate voice-enabled capability into their own web services in minutes, instead of weeks, with just one line of code.
