Vintage Studio has leased C-band capacity on AsiaSat 2 satellite for the launch of its new TV channel Ayur Living India.

Hutchison Telecommunications appoints Chris Foll, a senior executive at its Vietnam operation, as chief financial officer after Tim Pennington resigned to return to the UK after four years with the firm, a Reuters report said.

Microsoft announces a deal that will make its Live Search the default on HP personal computers shipped in the US and Canada, starting in January. The deal also calls for HP to install Internet Explorer with an extra Live Search toolbar on those computers.

Taiwan's First International Telecom (Fitel) deploys Starent Networks' solution for its WiMax network. Fitel provides mobile communications services through its network to more than one million subscribers.
