The Philippines' Globe Telecom has signed a three-year deal to adopt several SAP solutions to support the digitalization of the operator's finance processes.

Under the agreement, Globe will adopt the SAP S4/HANA business suite platform, as well as the Concur and Ariba Procure to Pay services.

Globe will use the solutions to upgrade its enterprise resource planning by automating most of the manual processes.

S/4 HANA will be used to create an agile finance function with access to information in real time, while SAP Concur will be used to simplify travel and employee expense processes and SAP Ariba P2P will be used to enable touch-free invoice processing between Globe and vendor partners.

“This initiative will help transform our finance processes into more agile and real-time decision-making tools. More than looking at numbers and transactions, we will further strengthen our capability to add value company-wide by providing insights crucial to making informed decisions,” said Globe CFO Rizza Maniego-Eala said.

“We expect to improve business productivity and operational efficiencies that will enable our cross-functional teams to deliver a richer internal and external customer experience.”
