Google rolls out developer phone

Google has rolled out is developer phone called Nexus One, made by Taiwan’s HTC and selling at $529.

The Nexus One combines an up-to-the-minute platform (Android 2.2), modern hardware, and the pure Android software suite.

The smartphone is touted as a good choice both for people who want to build Android applications using either the software development kit or its companion, the NDK.

Nexus One is also a good pick for those who want to experiment with modified versions of the Android platform.
