Hong Kong based HGC Global Communications has announced a collaboration with African operator Expresso Telecom Group to provide richer data connectivity to Africa and the Middle East.

As part of the collaboration, the two operators will partner for the provision of global solutions including multi-protocol label switching (MPLS), international private leased circuit (IPLC), IP exchange (IPX) and cloud services.

The two companies will collaborate to extend high-volume data transmission services to wholesale and enterprise customers in Africa and the Middle East, catering to rapid growth in demand in the developing region.

We are delighted to collaborate with Expresso, and to accelerate expanding [the] telecom footprint from Africa to worldwide,” HGC SVP of international business Ravindran Mahalingam said.

“We believe that through this industry collaboration, we can drive innovation, growth, and wide range of global data transmission solutions for local and regional customers.”
