HKBN signs pact with cloud providers

Hong Kong Broadband Network announced a strategic partnership with eight technology companies, including Broadsoft, Cisco, Deltapath, Hitachi Data Systems, Macroview Telecom, Oracle Asia Pacific, Polycom and Towngas Telecom.

The firm said these partnerships forge HKBN’s edge in delivering a full suite of cloud solutions to its corporate clients ranging from SMEs to large enterprises and carriers.

William Yeung, CEO of HKBN, said “HKBN has transformed from a telecom network provider to an ICT service provider with a wide spectrum of best-of-class products in broadband network, cloud solutions, data connectivity, voice communication, and managed Wi-Fi services.”

Riding on the advantage of its 100% fiber network infrastructure, HKBN said it amply supports top network performance and bandwidth demanding applications. HKBN adopts an open ecosystem to attract top-class partners, ensuring the latest technological advances and solutions are equally available to companies big or small.
