Hong Kong Television Network (HKTV) has officially launched its online shopping mall, offering products from more than 333 stores.
The launch follows a trial run which began last December 17 and saw stores opened in phases.
Products offered for sale are divided into eight categories — Fashion & Accessories, Beauty & Healthcare, Lifestyle & Entertainment, Electronic Products, Food & Beverage, Sports & Outdoor, Living & Households, Babies & Motherhood.
HKTV’s e-store also offers merchandise directly delivered from Japan and Korea, including drama-related products such as posters, postcards and notebooks.
“The grand launch of [our] online shopping mall now constitutes another segment of our new platform, consolidating entertainment and shopping into one, providing a new lifestyle experience for the Hong Kong public,” said HKTV chairman Ricky Wong.
Wong said prices at the online shopping mall have been set with the aim to attract all of Hong Kong’s 7 million-strong population, ranging from the upper and middle classes to the mass market.
