HP and BT have upgraded their IT and communications services alliance, making each other preferred partners for outsourcing contracts.
The two firms said the agreement built on their partnership which had won contracts worth more than $1.5 billion in the past three years.
As part of a multi-year agreement, HP will provide BT with the IT infrastructure components to support BT's service transformation. HP also will help BT transform its IT infrastructure into a service-oriented architecture to support new customer business models.
In turn, BT will provide connectivity between HP's US data centers and 143 sites in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
