Huawei Technologies has launched the world’s first LTE (Long Term Evolution) eNodeB ready for large-scale commercial deployment.

This LTE eNodeB is able to fully support a downlink rate of up to 150 Mbps in commercial LTE networks.

Huawei’s latest LTE eNodeB is able to maximize the use of the ultra-wide bandwidth of LTE networks by adopting 64QAM (quadrature amplitude modulation) and MIMO (multiple input multiple output) technology with 2T2R (two transmitters and two receivers) capabilities.

The SON (self organizing networks) solution of this eNodeB enables operators to reduce the expenses in operation and smoothly evolve to next-generation networks without much further investment.
