Huawei has launched what is touted as the world’s first 200G line card for high-end routers.
This line card promises to enable operators worldwide to deploy ultra-broadband networks over which users can enjoy cloud computing, mobile broadband, and high-definition video services.
The product is able to maintain a minimum power consumption of less than 2.62 W per GE, which is significantly lower than the industry average.
Consisting of a mother card and daughter card, this line card will be delivered with two types -- 2 x 100GE and 20 x 10GE.
