Orckit Communications of Israel said its CM-4000 products have received a technical specification evaluation certificate from the Bharat Sanchar Nigam quality assurance organization.
The CM-4000 metro aggregation switches are based on resilient packet ring technology and MPLS standards.
The switches include innovative quality of service, OAM (operations, administration and maintenance) and protection technologies for end-to-end triple play and enterprise VPN services.
