By reusing standardized, mainstream communications technology, national security and public safety (NSPS) organizations can leverage economies of scale and meet their requirements for new capabilities, reliability and security in a cost-effective and future-proof manner.

And by benefiting 3GPP capabilities such as multimedia, data and interoperability and adopting mobile broadband solutions, they can greatly improve operations capabilities and efficiency.

There are other benefits as well. Citizens get more from their tax money, with improved access to more resources and better public services. In addition, the money spent on building more reliable networks translates into better coverage and quality in everyday communication.
