Korean carrier POSDATA will use equipment from Azimuth Systems to test its FLYVO mobile Wimax brand.

POSDATA will use the ACE 400WB to emulate multi-antenna multipath characteristics with channel correlation.

This determines the effect of real-world RF interactions to enable accurate testing of MIMO broadband wireless communications, according to Azimuth Systems.

Based on its OFDMA and TDD source technologies, POSDATA's mobile Wimax brand consists of three core products: a radio access station, access control station and element management system.

Korea is among the first countries to deploy mobile Wimax with POSDATA among the major players.
