The US National Archive has mislaid a hard disk containing highly sensitive data from the Clinton Administration.

The lost disk contains nearly 1TB of data, including the Social Security numbers and home addresses of more than 100,000 people who visited or worked at the White House - among them Vice President Al Gore\'s daughter.

The drive reportedly contains details of Secret Service security procedures, event logs, social gathering logs and political records. The disk was apparently removed from a secure storage area to a workplace where at least 100 \'badge-holders\' had access to it, according to Rep. Darrell Issa.
