A recent In-Stat research found that CAPEX on LTE infrastructure will peak at a global total of $15.1 billion 2012.

The study also found that by 2014, LTE services will be available to 1.85 billion people (PoPs) globally.

Despite the potential for LTE services in China and India, Japan is very likely to have the most LTE subscribers in Asia Pacific by the end of 2014.
