Singapore's M1 has teamed up with Wi-Fi hotspot provider iPass to offer subscribers unlimited mobile Wi-Fi roaming services for a flat daily rate.

The operator announced a service for postpaid mobile users offering roaming on Wi-Fi hotspots in 120 countries and territories.
The mobile app that manages the service will allow users to log in with multiple devices under the same account.

M1 is pricing the service at S$12 ($10) per day spent Wi-Fi roaming in the Asia-Pacific region, and at S$19 per day in the rest of the world. The operator also currently offers unlimited data roaming at S$15 per day.

“[The service] will provide both retail and corporate users an affordable and fuss-free option to stay connected when they travel,” M1 CMO P. Subramaniam said.

The Wi-Fi roaming service will be operated by iPass' Open Mobile Exchange, which connects to around 145 Wi-Fi nework operators in 124 countries and territories.

M1 rival SingTel signed a similar deal with iPass in November last year.
