Microsoft has introduced voice search with Bing on its Xbox game consoles that will enable people to find entertainment content, including videos and TV programming, by saying keywords.

Microsoft also announced that Netflix, Hulu+, and ESPN would be joined by UFC on Xbox Live.

Molly O’Donnell, Xbox 360 director of marketing integration, said that Microsoft is committed to expand access to live television programming on Xbox to more providers in the US and around the world during the upcoming year, following existing partnerships for Xbox Live with Sky TV (UK), Canal+ (France) and Foxtel (Australia).

As content options on Xbox Live expand, finding content is a growing challenge, O’Donnell says. “This is why Microsoft is introducing voice search with Bing on Xbox.”

Bing on Xbox will search Netflix, Hulu+, ESPN, as well as music, video and Xbox Live marketplaces to help consumers find the specific games, movies, TV shows, sports and music they are looking for. “If you say it, Xbox finds it.”O’Donnell says.
