Mobile phone users want combined walking, driving nav app

A NAVTEQ study shows that at least two-thirds of mobile phone users want an integrated driving and walking solution.

Features deemed most important include public transit information, “logical guidance,” visual cues, and micro maps.

The study was conducted in nine countries across four regions, including Brazil, France, Germany, India, Russia, Singapore, Spain, UK and the US.
