Motorola said it has a signed multi-year Wimax contract with wi-tribe, a new wireless broadband operator in Pakistan.

Motorola said it will supply wi-tribe infrastructure and a comprehensive services package.

wi-tribe Pakistan Limited is a joint venture between Qatar Telecom (Qtel) and Saudi Arabia's A.A. Turki Group of Companies (ATCO). The company aims to cover North Africa across the Middle East and up to Asia.
