NTT Com merges online marketing units

NTT Com will consolidate its online marketing-related companies and businesses into a new company.

In a statement, NTT Com said its marketing solutions arm NTT NaviSpace and online research unit Digital Forest will merge into one company.

The new company, NTTCom Online Marketing Solutions, will begin operations this October

The firm said the move was prompted by the rapid spread of smartphones, social media, and cloud technology, which are changing online marketing solutions dramatically.
