Omnitron Systems Technology has released its newest iConverter GM3 network interface device (NID) demarcation product.

The iConverter GM3 NID provides carrier-grade, MEF 9, 14 and 21 certified compliant demarcation for carrier Ethernet business services, and complies with the latest carrier Ethernet service operations, administration and maintenance standards.

The GM3 also enables E-LINE and E-LAN service multiplexing and provisioning with MEF-certified user-to-network interface functions such as class of service (CoS) prioritization, granular rate limiting, and 802.1ad Provider Bridge VLAN stacking.

These service provisioning features allow the provider to offer tiered services according to SLAs based on data rate, CoS prioritization and service differentiation.
