Hong Kong-based cloud and managed services provider OneAsia Network has selected HPConverged Cloud solutions to support its cloud offerings delivery.

OneAsia network developed Cloud8tation, a cloud offering that provides infrastructure-as-a-service and software-as-a-service that target at businesses in Hong Kong.

To launch Cloud8tation, OneAsia needed a cost-effective, scalable and reliable solution that could rapidly provision cloud infrastructure and applications. OneAsia chose HP CloudSystem Matrix, built on HP Converged Infrastructure as the foundation for the new service. OneAsia created private, semi-private and public cloud environments using HP CloudSystem, a core element of the HP Converged Cloud portfolio.

To reduce the time to create new cloud services from months to minutes, OneAsia also leverages HP Cloud Maps, which are pre-packaged application templates, to automate provisioning and service catalog delivery capabilities, to shave weeks off the process of architecting cloud services.

OneAsia plans to replicate these applications at its other data center in Singapore. Besides Hong Kong and Singapore, the company also operates cloud data centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Jiangsu in China, as well as in Vietnam and Cambodia
