Openet has entered into an OEM agreement with VoltDB whose in-memory database technology is suited to address operators’ real-time, elastically scalable processing requirements, such as peak load management.
VoltDB’s database is intended for speed of operations and real-time analytics, making it possible for service providers to seamlessly adapt to new industry environments without sacrificing data accuracy, reliability, flexibility or performance.
Other user benefits include real-time control of network resource consumption; convergent billing solutions for generation billing architectures; gateways enabling real-time interaction between network systems and users; and a billing mediation and data collection offering.
