Orange Polska signs up Ericsson for six-year deal

Orange Polska has selected Ericsson as its OSS transformation partner, signing a six-year deal whereby Ericsson will carry out the transformation and optimization of processes and information systems.

Ericsson will supply Orange Polska with consulting and systems integration capabilities, as well as an operations support system (OSS) software suite, which provides tools for network planning, inventory, fulfillment and assurance domain.

By implementing the Ericsson OSS software suite, Orange will be able to process operational data more quickly and reliably, as well as enabling the cost-efficient development of new tools. A range of systems integration and consulting services are included in the deal.

"The OSS transformation gives Orange Polska the agility to optimize their operations and ensure improved end-user satisfaction,” said Valter D'Avino, head of Ericsson in Western and Central Europe.

“For us it is a next step in OSS/BSS transformation in Central Europe,” said D’Avino. “It captures the growing need among operators for flexible, reliable systems that help grow the business."
