Singapore’s OrisTel Systems has been appointed by ADTRAN as preferred partner for the distribution of broadband access and optical transmission products to telecom service providers, government and utility customers in Asia Pacific.

ADTRAN expects the partnership to help drive expansion of its telecommunication network infrastructure business in the region.

The partnership is designed to help ADTRAN provide both its technology solutions and support to meet increasing demand in the Asia Pacific region.

OrisTel is a joint venture between two wholly-owned subsidiaries of Singapore's ST Electronics.
