Pacnet has been selected by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) as a Founding Member of the HKEx Hosting Services Ecosystem.

Pacnet will provide high-speed, low-latency connectivity to support customers of the stock exchange's new hosting services in its new data center in Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate.

As part of HKEx’s Hosting Services Founding Members Program, Pacnet will participate in the early set-up of the hosting ecosystem at HKEx's Next Generation Data Center (NGDC), before its launch later this year.

Pacnet will deliver Pacnet Lightning, which provides access speeds of up to 1 Gbps using Ethernet technology and leverages Pacnet's extensive network, into the NGDC.

Pacnet Lightning guarantees secure, reliable and lowest-latency connections to market data vendors, stock exchanges or other electronic trading platforms for their information access and trading needs. The service also offers real-time end-to-end network performance monitoring and reporting, which allow customers to see the actual latency between two points.

Besides Hong Kong, Pacnet Lighting is also available in key financial markets, including, Singapore, Japan and North America.
