Palo Alto Networks has launched its Palo Alto Networks Fuel User Group, a community established to drive knowledge sharing and best practices among security professionals.

In addition to regular interactions with Palo Alto Networks technology leaders, membership in Fuel will provide security professionals with exclusive, timely, and educational opportunities for peer and industry expert engagement.

Members also will have access to leadership opportunities and community-developed educational resources to further their knowledge and careers in cybersecurity.

"Fuel is a thriving community with a mission of fostering collaboration and education among security professionals from all over the world,” said Scott Gainey, head of Product Marketing at Palo Alto Networks.

“Participation can help members better protect their respective organizations from the latest cyber threats and contribute to the future of cybersecurity where the balance of power has shifted from cyber criminals to security professionals.”

Membership in the Fuel User Group is tiered based on engagement level and access to premium content and services. Original Fuel members joining in 2015 will be recognized year-after-year for their foundational participation and have access to future benefits.

Fuel members also will gain valuable networking opportunities with local Fuel chapters, Spark User Summit events that connect Fuel members and Palo Alto Networks experts by region, and discounted participation at Ignite, the Palo Alto Networks annual user conference.
