PCCW\'s enterprise services division PCCW Global has launched the TGN-Intra Asia (TGN-IA) subsea cable network linking PoPs in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore.

The cable, which is being installed and operated by Tata Comm, will also have branch extensions to the Philippines and Vietnam. It is expected to go live in July, and become fully operational once it lands in Vietnam in Q3.

The 6,700-km long cable will have an aggregate bandwidth of 3.84Tbps.

TGN-IA will link to Tata\'s wider international network, including the APCN-2 trans-Pacific system and the Reach North Asia Loop (RNAL).
