PCCW Solutions has entered an alliance with data center providers worldwide to offer a one-stop-shop for data center services across worldwide locations.

The new D-Infinitum Global Data Center Alliance brings together more than 80 data center facilities across 40 cities.

PCCW Solutions and its partners will offer multi-site co-location and value added services - including managed services, facility management, business continuity and disaster recovery - to multinational enterprise clients.

According to PCCW Solutions managing director Ramez Younan, the alliance aims to eliminate the need for enterprises to negotiate complex commercial agreements with multiple providers in order to fill their needs for multi-location hosting.

“PCCW Solutions together with the D-Infinitum partners intend to provide a full suite of hosting and co-location services in addition to connectivity and value-added services, thus providing a one-stop hub for clients’ global hosting needs and enabling them to reap the full benefits of each of the locations to achieve their availability, performance, security and capacity requirements,” he said.

The deal will allow PCCW Solutions to expand its co-location, hosting and managed services globally, beyond its existing owned facilities in Hong Kong and mainland China.
