Polycom launches new IP phones in Singapore

Plantronics subsidiary Polycom has announced the availability of its updated line of VVX Series Business IP Phones in Singapore.

The new portfolio offers next-generation desktop phones have been designed to attempt to meet the budget and communication needs of any business while being simple to administer and upgrade throughout their entire lifecycle.

The company also launched its new Management Service for Service Providers (PDMS-SP), a cloud service aimed at streamlining and simplifying provisioning, management and troubleshooting for service providers by integrating extensive capabilities into their own processes and dashboards.

Polycom will release an API allowing service providers to customize what services and analytics they need from Polycom audio devices used by each customer into their portals.

This information is integrated seamlessly into their own workflows and dashboards allowing service providers to monitor, anticipate, and solve customer problems faster while lowering costs.

“The addition of PDMS-SP to our portfolio is designed to help our service provider partners better manage complexity, increase profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction,” Plantronics EVP for product and solutions management Tarun Loomba said.
